PERSONAL STATEMENT
Teddy Stewart attended the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens, Georgia. Before joining Bequette, Billingsley, & Kees, P.A., Teddy was an Assistant Attorney General and a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Pulaski County. As an advocate for the State, he prosecuted Medicaid Fraud, DWIs, and Domestic Violence.
At Southern Methodist University, Teddy was the winner of best oral advocate for a brief on employment law. At the University of Georgia, he participated in both the Prosecutor Justice Program and the Criminal Defense Clinic.
Teddy represents numerous school districts across the state. Outside of school compliance and litigation, Teddy practices in the areas of employment, discrimination, personal injury, medical malpractice, and general civil litigation.
Teddy is an avid hunter and golfer. He and his wife Emily have been married since 2019 and spend their free time at the lake in the summer and the timber in the winter. They attend St. James United Methodist Church where Teddy serves as the Chair of the Endowment Committee.
