PERSONAL STATEMENT

Jacquelyn Harrison is a trial attorney at BBK with a focus on school district litigation, education law and general civil litigation. Jacquelyn began practicing law in 2012, and prior to joining BBK in 2021, she spent seven years with a Little Rock civil defense firm, primarily handling insurance defense litigation.
At BBK, Jacquelyn regularly represents school districts in litigation and as general counsel, advising in the areas of employment matters, Title IX and public board governance. Jacquelyn is also called upon to provide legal training to various education groups, particularly relating to Title IX.
Jacquelyn is active in the firm’s representation of school clients across the state, routinely handling matters involving Title IX and Freedom of Information Act. Jacquelyn’s depth in understanding these laws allows her to provide pre-litigation counsel and defense of her clients if the matter proceeds to state or federal court.
When out of the office, Jacquelyn is active with her family and volunteering at her children’s schools. Jacquelyn and Brian have been married since 2010 and have three young children: Holt, Harper and Hayden.
