STAUFFER
PERSONAL STATEMENT
Matt Stauffer engages in general civil litigation, focusing on business, contract, school district, and civil rights litigation. Matt regularly practices in state and federal court.
Matt Stauffer was born and raised in Little Rock. He graduated from Little Rock Central High School before obtaining his bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. While in college, Matt joined the Arkansas Air National Guard at the 188th Fighter Wing in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Matt returned home and completed his law degree at the Bowen School of Law in Little Rock.
After law school, Matt spent a year clerking for a Judge in Pulaski County, Arkansas. He then worked as a prosecutor in Pulaski County for 7.5 years. During his time as a prosecutor, he prosecuted misdemeanors and felonies including thefts, drug offense, robberies, shootings, domestic violence, and sexual assaults. It was in the criminal courtroom that Matt developed his skills in presenting issues and facts to judges and juries, and where honed his atribute of attention to detail with effective cross- examination.
When out of the office, Matt is active with his family and church. Matt married his incredible wife Amy in 2016, and they share three amazing young children.
